Sweet Soy Sautéed Shrimp with Caramelized Onion Recipe
Ingredients:
- Shrimp 300g
- Cooking Oil 15g
- butter 15g
- Garlic 4 Cloves (Mince)
- Onion (white) 1pcs (whole) (Julienne)
- Soy Sauce 150ml
- water 50ml
- Brown Sugar 125g
- Cajun 2Tbsp. (30g)
- Salt & Pepper To Taste
- Green Onion For Garnish

Procedure:
- To prepare, melt the butter in a medium sauté pan over medium heat, add the garlic and shrimp, and cook until the shrimp are pink and the garlic is fragrant. When the shrimp is done cooking, add the water, soy sauce, and brown sugar and stir until combined; bring to a boil over high heat, and then immediately drop the heat to low and let the sauce thicken. add the salt and pepper to finish.
- Cook the julienned onion in a separate pan until it is caramelized. add salt and pepper to finish.
- Once you’ve completed each step of the recipe, you can go on to plating and presentation. Don’t forget to garnish it with green onions! Enjoy!
